I would like to add a further idea, about the materials: the use of new photocatalytic concrete (based on cement containing titanium dioxide) recently launched for depollution and, above all, for self-cleaning surfaces would add an environmental aspect, together with a possible reduction of building maintenance costs! Why not?

there are a very few buildings of Mr.Calatrava that i have seen,that too only in books and on web pages......... i find his buildings to be a magna of simpleness....yet so complete and magnificient....from the first day my lecturer showed me ur designs i knew exactly who i want as my role model.now, after two years as a stident of architecture my views remain unaltered....and that is just the beginning......

mi mayor sueño es graduarme como arquitecta de interiores y ver tus obras no solamente me fascinan sino me inspiran emociones q me elevan las ganas de ser cada día mejor, me parece impresionante la forma en que te inspiras para hacer tus obras. El alumbramiento
Sin lugar a duda, Calatrava crea un espacio sublime de nacimiento; el nacer de una nueva era y el nacer de una nueva esperanza..será un espacio de tránsito celestial, algo parecido al transitar por ese espacio impalpable antes de la llegada al mundo... dar a luz. Hacedor de sueños...

Impresionantes Estructuras
Calatrava ha sorprendido tanto por esa habilidad nata de diseñar, su visualiacion tridimencional es ilimitada, a mi parecer es un arquitecto muy completo. Me encanta esa manera de diseñar estructuralmente, todas sus obras se distinguen por eso.Es un gran ejemplo a seguir.

El mejor de todos
Considero a Santiago Calatrava, como una persona que le sobra imaginación, que sus proyectos no tratan de expresar semejanzas con dinosaurios, animales, etc, por el contrario estos proyectos son el resultado de un arduo desarrollo estructural e imaginación, este es un ejemplo claro de técnica y creatividad. Lo considero como un modelo a seguir, interpretando sus ideales para plasmarlo en mis proyectos; reflexionando a través de sus teorias.

Calatrava, fuente de inspiracion
Sin Lugar a duda. Arq. Santiago Clatrava es y será por siempre una inspiracion personal, es maravilloso, y sueño conocerlo algun dia.

Beautiful
As a design student I am extremely appreciative of the bold form created by Calatrava. The elegant skeletal structure creates an inspiration within me to strive for elegant complexity while not loosing sight of the beauty in simplicity. It may be a contradiction but there is evidence of both simplicity and complexity in all of his works.
